Without the Cuban revolution the world would be in a much worse state than it is today. Even though Cuba is a small country it inspires people all over the world to fight for justice and socialism. Your example shows the opressed peoples of the world that it is possible to beat imperialism, and build a democratic socialism.

We are also pleased to see that you celebrate the 50th annivarsery in a time when the tide is changing. The US empire is faltering and we hope that soon the time will come for its’ downfall. Meanwhile Cuba is gaining new allies and friends everyday, within Latin America and beyond.

For the RKU it is inspiring to share the struggle for socialism and the fight against imperialism with the UJC. The Swedish solidarity with Cuba is an important part of our struggle. We will be holding meetings in several Swedish cities in January to inform people about the real Cuba, as opposed to the slandering and lies told by the media.

We hope for 50, 500, 5000 more years of Cuban revolution and you can count on our continued support.
